Quinta das Vinhas

Quinta das Vinhas located in Calheta covers 30,000 m², the majority of which is occupied by an organic vineyard, the main house dates to the 17th century with a magnificent sea view. Funchal is approximately 35 km from Quinta das Vinhas, around 30 minutes by car. Here it is possible to visit and taste the only organic vineyards in Madeira, which give rise to the famous Madeira Wine (liqueur) from the “Justinos” brand. A ‘’journey’’ through the evolution of a semi-dry or semi-sweet wine to see its evolution over the years.

During the tasting, customers will have water and homemade bread available as a palate cleanser and at the end an assortment of tapas from Quinta das Vinhas:, Small Honey Cake, Toast with Olive Pate and Cherry Tomatoes with Parmesan Cheese.
